The field is about 12 metres long and has a wicket on either end. The aim of the game is to hit the wicket using the ball. The two available play options are the Twenty20 – which generally takes a day – and Test Matches – which is played over a period of five days. Cricket is mostly followed by Australasia, the Indian subcontinent, southern Africa, the UK and Ireland, and the West Indies.
