Hosted the Ryder Cup between Europe and the United States. As well as 15 Wales Opens on the European Tour, this jewel of Welsh golf is designed to start and finish within the Usk valley.

The Montgomerie course at Celtic Manor was recently redesigned by Ryder Cup star, Colin Montgomerie. The original Resorts course opened as Roman Road in 1995 and is ranked as the top inland course in Wales.

The course has been designed around the original features of the rolling parkland, including a Roman Motte. This championship course has been selected for a number of Welsh Golf events, since 1996.
