Leicester regularly hosts the Premiership Rugby Sevens Series. The Welford Road Stadium hosted the 1995 and the 1991 Rugby World Cup.

London is used for the Premiership Rugby Sevens Series Tournament. The Allianz Park Stadium regularly hosts Rugby Union for the RFU Championship and the European Rugby tournaments.

Manchester was used for the Rugby Sevens during the 2002 Commonwealth Games. The Etihad Stadium is used for regular team football in the Premiership and for the 2008 European Cup Finals.
